Oregon needs a new OC and starting QB for 2027. There’s already plenty of talk about bringing in a package deal.
If Lanning could land one of these OC/QB combos, which would you want?
1. Chip Kelly + Aidan Chiles (Northwestern)
2. Buster Faulkner + Aaron Philo (Florida)
3. Mitch Dahlen + Braden Atkinson (Oregon State)
I might disagree with you guys a little bit, but I certainly agree he’s not on the Mount Rushmore of Oregon QB’s.
I guess I kind of wonder what might’ve been if he had a true QB Coach and elite offense. He has the talent as we can see from the NFL interest. In theory, he should’ve taken a big step forward this year but we never got to see that for a variety of reasons.
Doesn’t look like Coach Shep will be leaving Oregon State anytime soon.
