To understand where we are today, it is important for us to know where we have gone before.
History will always be the final judge of our deeds. And we must insist upon being on the right side of History.
We applaud our friend and fellow rural young democrat senator @JamesSkoufis for jumping into the dnc race. Senator Skoufis has keynoted severs of our outrun trainings fighting to make sure we have space to elevate young and diverse folks can run for local office across upstate NY
🧵 Announcement: I’m running to be the next chair of the DNC @thedemocrats. I’m an outsider, but I know how to win. We’re losing on politics, messaging, organizing and policy. And we’ve been running the same stale, inside-the-Beltway playbook driven by the same, tired, inside-the-Beltway voices. No more. We’re doing it differently. That changes the day I am elected. Happy thanksgiving rural America, we are thankful for the fact that we are fighting for an inclusive and diverse rural America and to make sure our Democratic Party stands up for diversity across the country. Regardless of zip code. We’re also thankful for victories!
We don’t buy the doubting, we will continue to push to recruit the next generation of local electeds in rural Pa. Borough council elections are coming up and we’re looking forward to working with the @PADems Rural Caucus and folks like @davonmagwood to flip borough seats.
Democrats, stunned by election losses in Pennsylvania, vow a rebound but face doubts as the state appears to tilt Republican, potentially echoing Ohio's shift.

When Bernie says that we need more working class candidates. I think of our newly elected folks like @denniston_jake, and @NicholasHazele1 in Kentucky and @Press4BC in Michigan who ran in nonpartisan elections with support from democratic infrastructure. They won.

My advice to democrats and left leaning independents is to treat folks with respect regardless of what signs they have in their yard.
Talk about the issues that matter and don’t be afraid to engage with folks that disagree. Just showing up is half the battle for a lot of people.
On this day of transgender remembrance we honor and uplift our trans family and friends.
We will continue to fight to stop violence and hate.
This is why we outrun!

Just a reminder that if your future vision of the Democratic Party doesn’t include diversity and rural America. It doesn’t include our communities and when we fight we win.
Tackling the idea that we need to be helpless looks like young people running for office.
Let’s go @emmacurtislex! This is how we outrun!!

Hi as of today our candidates have won an additional 12 races.
We wanted to highlight @emmacurtislex who’s going to be a County Councillor in Kentucky.
Emma is young, and is part of our shared future.
Folks like Emma winning shows us we win when we fight for all

Today we recruited five young people to run for village board in March. We recruited an openly lgbtq Town Board candidate in Steuben county.
This is the future of Democratic politics of New York State not @Tom_Suozzi.
Embrace the future reject these tired politics.
Be like mayor @RGC_NYS let’s continue to govern and do good for the people
