$EOS.AX I highly recommend reading this article if you want to know what's next for EOS, and for MARSS in particular.
EOS.AX New article just published Current share price incorporates no value for laser, no value for Space Defence and no value for future MARSS contracts. If EOS delivers on laser, this will be 10 billion Ausie Dollar mkt cap seekingalpha.com/article/495…

Europe: EOS plans to open European corporate headquarters in the near term and will "very very soon" have a large footprint in Germany. Poland is also at the top of the list, and EOS is open to Polish partnerships. The goal is to bring its integrated turnkey counter-drone solution to the NATO market, for both military and civil use.

Effectors: The interceptor drones carry no explosives and kill only by kinetic impact, so they can be stored by the hundreds next to the site they protect, controlled by MARSS' C2 system. EOS will also add 70 mm rocket systems to its portfolio "very soon". 70mm rockets are also the next focus of LAND 156: xitter.cf/theobservercap/status/…

LAND 156 Major General Kurt Brown, Army’s Head Land Capability, told Defence Technology Review this month: “We’re looking as a first step the use of 70 mm rockets for counter-UAS and then also directed energy laser systems are under work and indeed through Mission Syracuse with ASCA there’s a couple of lines of effort for those outcomes.” That sits inside his answer on LAND 156, the Australian counter-small-UAS programme EOS is already part of, so the 70 mm first step is a LAND 156 effector line rather than a separate programme. What matters is what carries the rockets. A 70 mm rocket would most likely be sideloaded onto a remote weapon station, in the same way the Thales LMM already has been and the VAMPIRE launcher sits on an EOS gimbal in Ukraine. Demand for 70 mm counter-UAS effectors is therefore demand for the stations that carry them. On the laser line, AIM Defence is the funded Australian player today with A$21.3m for Fractl under Mission Syracuse. But EOS has begun building a laser weapon in Canberra and is in discussions with the Australian government, so the two lines of effort Brown refers to are unlikely to stay a single-supplier field.

$EOS.AX Update on ILUM: according to hartpunkt, EOS Space Systems has formed a consortium with Plath and a third, unnamed German company to bid for the DLR's ground-based anti-satellite laser programme. Plath is a Hamburg-based specialist in signals intelligence and electronic reconnaissance. Partnering with German companies is an important step after HoWism, where the naval laser was awarded directly to Rheinmetall and MBDA. Bidding as part of a German consortium should make EOS far less exposed to the same political dynamics. Competition looks limited so far. Observers see MBDA as a possible bidder, given its laser cooperation with Rheinmetall, but its participation is not confirmed. Trumpf and Rohde & Schwarz have teamed up on military lasers, but have no known space activities.

In June the German space agency DLR opened ILUM, a market survey for ground-based space lasers able to affect satellites, from dazzling optical sensors to damaging them. The requirements for ILUM read almost feature for feature like Atlas. The contract notice is expected on 1 January 2027, with initial capability fielding targeted for 2029. EOS is by far the best-positioned company for this contract, as there is no non-US Western alternative to Atlas that possesses similar capabilities.

AAIG × @InvestingVisual — Depth Made Visual. A sneak peek! AI is opening up investment opportunities across memory, optics, and the infrastructure behind it all. Following these developments often means getting into technical detail to understand what actually matters. Sometimes you read about a technology or company here on X and ask Grok or ChatGPT: "What does this technology do? What does this company bring to the table? And why should I follow this development?" Through our partnership, we're bringing AAIG's in-depth research together with the visual approach Investing Visuals has built its page around: giving investors an accessible overview of a subject. Together, we're building a new product on that approach to help you understand the fast changing technologies, companies, and developments we research in a nuanced overview. And when you want to understand the investment opportunity behind it, with the numbers laid out, the risks, and what could make the investment work, our full research takes you through it. Sneak peak on Electro Optic Systems ($EOS.AX), and how Europe plans to stop cheap drones. Behind the scenes, we're also setting up our digital studio together with our branding agency. More soon. Excited!

$EOS.AX Hartpunkt reports the Bundeswehr is preparing a larger procurement of Diehl's GARMR counter-drone vehicle, starting with a small qualification buy. Army chief Freuding says Panzerbrigade 45 will get counter-drone capability before deploying to Lithuania, as an interim solution it will keep using once the target systems arrive. The weapon station on GARMR is an EOS R400.
