It astounds me, what with electronic medical records, that the predominant method of getting #MRI risk information is exclusively through use-once-and-discard paper forms. I’m quite confident that the reported incidences are but the tip of the iceberg.

At the 2012 @RSNA annual meeting, I presented a paper by @ekanal and me about #MRIsafety. Specifically looking at the top three forms of #MRI injury accidents (burns, projectiles, and hearing damage) as quantified by @US_FDA, and whether best practices could stop them.
