Replying to @AskRobinhood
@AskRobinhood you have failed. I have been on "hold" for 4 days now. I will NOT be closing on my house because of you, and you failed to give me any support at all. I have a very sizable account and will never use your services again if this is SOP.

Quick update. Another day and still no customer support. My other two banks were able to get me talking with a real person within 5 minutes of calling. By the time customer support @RobinhoodApp contacts me, I will have transferred out hundreds of thousands of dollars 50k a day.

This is awesome, and something 8 have talked about multiple times. Thanks for putting this together!
Keeping s/w up-to-date is *critical* to keeping systems secure. I wrote an article with some of the common approaches used by people and the issues they hit -- let me know what you think! chainguard.dev/unchained/sta…

Did anyone else read the stack overflow survey and not understand what the crap devs were thinking? The whole thing counterdicts itself multiple times, making the information less then useful?

This is crazy.
Possible supply chain attack happening in the web ecosystem right now all under the guise of supporting node 0.4. Does this GitHub action allow ljharb to inject back doors? Replacing setup-node is very suspicious behavior.

I'm not saying this is a supply chain attack, but I will say that the behavior is indistinguishable from what someone trying to perform a supply chain attack in the future would do.

Someone please explain to me like I was 5 how kubernetes changed anything about the way we actually manage infrastructure? I hear this all the time, and I think that maybe we are talking about different infrastructure?

#Apple injecting a thumbs up into your capture card video when it detects a thumbs up EVEN when NOT using FaceTime it's byond terrible. I will save money to purchase none apple hardware for a streaming pc. The OS is literally watching all incoming video. This can't be abused...

I don't have any philosophical or ethical issues with source-available licenses, but their proponents are going to have to address these cease-and-desist threats if they seriously expect them to fix imbalances in OSS sustainability. Developers working in OSS (OSI/FSF approved licenses) are going to be prevented from engaging with or even looking at source-available projects completely to prevent the risk of lawsuits. It's just too risky to pretend otherwise. There's no gradual transition here, it's going to be a hard fork in communities if these lawsuit threats keep continuing. And I know which community I'd bet on sticking around. This isn't "just another license", it's a dramatic shift in norms that's going to result in lawyers coming back. And no one wants that.
