This is how you use that two way. Had some rough moments last year, but high upside swing.

The Mavericks have emerged a leading contender to land Walter Clayton Jr. when he clears waivers, @TheSteinLine has learned.

Would love Brea or Clayton on that final two way spots.

Would be a nice swing for that Mavs two way spot if he gets waived.

The Grizzlies are actively trying to find a new home via trade for Walter Clayton Jr. before today's 5 PM ET roster cutdown deadline, league sources tell @JakeLFischer and me, with Sacramento emerging as a possible destination. More NBA from us: tinyurl.com/4d74y3tc

Right choice, but damn it hurts. Hope he’s back in a different way.

Powell / Cisse thoughts… I’m struggling with this. I understand the value of Powell making the roster and being one of the few consistent pieces of this entire organization. Leadership and a presence like him matters, especially for a new coach who is in his first NBA season.

But Cisse is a much better player at this point and is far more intriguing as this team needs to build its talent pool. He’s cheap and an asset other teams want. I don’t like giving that up for free.

The Mavericks are holding onto center Moussa Cisse, who will have his contract for the 2026-27 season fully guaranteed in a matter of minutes sources told @ClutchPoints. Cisse signed an offer sheet with the Knicks earlier this summer only for Dallas to match and keep him.

I beg everyone, especially those who still ride completely for Luka, to block HP Basketball and move on. It’s made my basketball life peaceful for many years now. Truly one of the most ignorant and unfortunately loud accounts that believes he’s always right.
