To all my international moots, I need you to know that things are really bad in Indonesia right now
We're frustrated, exhausted and struggling every single day to get through all of this. Our forests are still burning, we're breathing in toxic haze, people are suffering from respiratory illnesses, wildlife is losing its habitat and we're dealing with floods, fuel shortages, a clean water crisis, blackouts, drought, a weakening rupiah, a crashing stock market and so much economic and political uncertainty
Our own government keeps failing us. They're tone-deaf, manipulative and completely indifferent to what we're going through. They gaslight us, silence our voices and act like everything is fine while people are struggling just to get by

TAMAN NASIONAL WAY KAMBAS DIBAKAR!!
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
Belom selesai kasus kebakaran di Kalimantan, Taman Nasional Way Kambas di Lampung SENGAJA DIBAKAR!
I REPEAT! 📢
SENGAJA DIBAKAR 📢
Kebakarannyaa sendiri terjadi sejak Jumat (21/8/2026) hingga saat ini, Sabtu (22/8/2026). Apinyaa saat ini masih sulit dipadamkan karena sulitnya medan.
Polisi katanyaa mau nyelidiki oknum yang dicurigai MEMBAKAR WAY KAMBAS.
sementara Pihak TN Way Kambas berharap ada bantuan alat pemadam berupa mesin pompa air atau alkon untuk menjangkau area yang sulit dijangkau kendaraan.
FYI:
WAY KAMBAS ini sudah sejak lama menjadi incaran sawit-sawit an sejak tahun 90-an!
Dan you know lah, sekali lagi konflik manusia dan gajah dijadikan kambing hitam~ 😭
Alih Fungsi Lahan: Lebih dari 5.350 hektar hutan tercatat telah berubah menjadi area pertanian dan kebun komersial akibat perambahan liar yang menumpuk dari tahun ke tahun~ 😔
Semoga Kartijah, Domang, Seroja, Nisa dkk semuanyaa selamat aman sentosa! 🐘
Maafkan kami, sekali lagi Gajah, Macan, Trenggiling, Badak, Harimau, Tapir dan semuanyaaa 😭😔

Personally I DON'T think her wanting to be an adventurer is retconned. Instead it was confirmed(?) as something that has happened.
Calypso said that she adores the crew for being fumbling idiots because it reminds her of someone. Possibly hinting they had adventures when they
