On the first day of school, I have students take a picture with this "I am a math person" frame. I read in Atomic Habits that it STARTS with identity and then the habits will follow. Someone who keeps telling themself that they are not a math person is not going to grow as much as someone who has a growth mindset.

I have the most beautiful example of how we should lift others up. My 81 year old dad reminded me this week how we should always be positive to others, instead of tearing them down. Weak people harm, strong people help others rise. Which kind of person do you choose to be?
