Oncor is a long-time supporter of the city’s parks and trails system, contributing other parcels of land to this purpose over the years. 29 miles of the City’s hike and bike trails are built on Oncor property.
Most of the Trinity Forest Spine Trail lies within a floodplain & requires hydrological mitigation. Parkdale Lake is a key addition to the plan bc of the role it will play in managing runoff and flood prevention. We're thankful to @oncordelivers for the donation of Parkdale Lake!

I ride this trail weekly, beautiful escape from the city but still in Dallas. Walk or ride, there are many cement benches to rest and listen to the birds. Dallas Audubon close by brings in avian variety. 8 miles separated into 3 sections with lots of parking.
The AT&T Trail is shaded with beautiful tree canopies and all along the route, bikers and walkers are serenaded with birdsong. If you're looking for an escape from the city, hop on this trail and immerse yourself in nature for a few miles!
