Logger, the development console for Shortcuts is now available on the App Store! ✨ apps.apple.com/app/logger-fo… It makes editing even complex shortcuts *much* easier and maybe even… fun? 🙃 A one-time universal purchase for iOS, iPadOS and macOS.

@TheLoggerApp is such a useful toll to work with shortcuts. Really helpful to further develop Craftcuts for @craftdocsapp. I can easily check if the correct inputs are passed to the Shortcut and review them nicely in Logger

If you’ve ever found Shortcuts’ programming environment lacking, then this is the app for you. I suspect Logger will make the platform much more appealing to engineers/developers/coders of all types 🙇🏻‍♂️

If you're a Shortcuts power user, you know how badly the app needs a real console to debug your code. Logger by @mralexhay is a new console utility that uses native actions to log info + error messages and troubleshoot shortcuts. I love it. My review: macstories.net/reviews/logge…

The latest TestFlight build (iOS only at the moment, macOS is waiting for review), allows you to toggle the display of time intervals. This lets you see how much time elapsed between messages as well as the first and last message. Useful for optimising your long Shortcuts!

You can also now use the ‘Recent’ filter, which will show the most recent messages until there is a gap between messages longer than 5 minutes. Great for seeing the most recent ‘session’ only.
2
Lots of quality of life improvements in today’s builds: 🔍 JSON messages filter 💻 Icon to indicate the source device ⚡️ ‘Log Internet Connection’ action ℹ️ ‘Log Device Details’ action 🗓 Tap the date to see milliseconds 🗑 Delete only filtered messages

There’s a new Mac build out that adds tagging functionality ⚡️
2
A new iOS build was just pushed out with support for tags. You could: 🏷 Tag messages with the name of the shortcut you’re working on 🏷 Tag each run of the shortcut 🏷 Tag different sections of a complex shortcut More ways to slice and dice your results! 🔪
