And this is exactly why I could never understand all the hate Rolin Jones got for saying that. He answered the question he was asked. The journalist should have followed up with: “Did Lestat go there to kill his family or to save them?” Because we ALL know the answer to that. He went there and saved Louis who would have been as dead as Claudeleine if it wasn’t for Lestat. Now, I’m not sure what this journalist’s goal was, but it sure didn’t look like they were interested in clearing up the imbroglio.

It’s genuinely so depressing and makes you look back at previous seasons differently. The scene where Louis is crying because he realized Claudia could dream. Was that just to further paint Claudia out to be a liar? Further that Louis is not to be trusted?
