Our goal is to empower creators to build things we haven't even imagined yet - whether they are pushing the boundaries of realistic 3D, complex RPG mechanics, or an entirely new genre.
This will end up the same way image and video ads ended up after they banned 3rd party ad networks.
I went from making ~10,000$/day to 10$/day from ads.
Not joking. The biggest revenue opportunity for both developers and Roblox was killed for who knows what reason.
Beginning in 2027, Roblox will be taking a cut of all advertising revenue earned inside experiences with brand partnerships.

The US Government is holding a meeting today proposing laws that would require Age Verification on ALL APPS through the app store.
In order to download any app on your phone you'd have to verify your age using a Government ID or Face Scan.
This is a massive invasion of privacy.
