If you listen 👂 closely you can hear the hopes and dreams of the next generation dying
Switched from MacDons after 15 yrs, we were happy with them but wanted to try something different. So far very happy with the Claas convio flex. Does anybody have any opinions or tips? A very different flex system than MacDon. I’m definitely not going to miss their center drum.
Checking in on my Canadian farming friends…you guys good? Anyone having any harvest progress? The weather looks to be a crap show 😔
This harvest seems like we are constantly trying to outrun a storm. We’ve received 3x the rain on brown leaves than we ever did on green ⚡️ ⚡️
We’ve acquired a 130-94 from a neighbor. Has the terrible gulp2. Want to convert it to just a regular swing hopper. Anyone done this? Our dealer is having a hard time figuring out what we need or if it’s possible…it’s gotta be possible…
The Spring wheat hasn’t been much to brag about this year. Finally found some decent #DNS. #claas #shephardsgrain
Or…maybe this will help CE manufacturers quit being so stagnant and develop a better bike to compete 🤷🏼♂️ there hasn’t been a huge advancement in engine or transmission tech in a very long time
And also saying yes to every single thing someone asks of you even if you are already completely overrun.
Looking for recommendations on a Claas dealer in the Midwest or west that is exceptional. Our local dealer has really cut their inventory and will not consider trades. I love these machines, but their dealer network needs improvement.
Oriental mustard in Henry, Idaho has been getting the heat turned up on it this week with temperatures in the mid to upper 90’s for the past five days. This crop is destined for the Asian market where it will be turned into wasabi mustard or used as a meat preservative. 🥵
Save the date! if you’re within a couple hours of this in southeastern Idaho or Northern Utah, I think this would be a worthwhile way to spend part of a day
After surviving two nights of 13f during tillering, we’re now looking at low 20’s tomorrow during anthesis. I hope it didn’t go through all that do meet it’s demise in the morning. The crops all look great around here too. So much potential! @WheatPete
Replying to @alexbrown_6 @WheatPete
Our bigger wheat is fine. Smaller wheat got dinged a little. Headed towards some low 20’s the next couple of days😬
Bourgault guys using Greenstar-is there any way to make the x30 and 4640 communicate? Wheat are you using for your coverage trigger? We are currently using scv1 as our trigger but not ideal since it’s always engaged to run the 410 box.
