We rebuilt our betting pipeline over the July 4 weekend. This thread is every material fix - including the embarrassing ones. Transparency is the product. A record you can’t audit is just marketing.
Massive thread below detailing all the improvements to our model - and so far +8u. These improvements should yield more profits and less losses. Check out the thread for the list of all improvements:
William Contreras had 3 hits. The Dodgers, as a team, had 3 hits. That is Game 2 in one line. His homer tied it, his single put Milwaukee ahead for good, and the bullpen retired the last 15 Dodgers in order. A 2-0 lead built like that travels to Los Angeles.
24 targets, 17 catches, 138 yards tells the real story. Buffalo let Nacua catch it short, tackled in space, and capped his longest gain at 24. Stafford needed 54 throws because the explosive play never showed up, and that volume is not a plan you can run weekly.
Today the models ran 3 games, 20 players, 62 lines. 3 made the card. The number says no far more often than yes.
Florida State's offense counters at 32.1 SP+ against Louisville's 25.7 defense. The Cardinals' defense is more vulnerable still. SP+ includes priors and early samples, so both units are tested units. Consistent movement through a drive wins. Chaos favors the underdog.
The no-vig market prices 62% Cardinals, 38% Seminoles. Louisville at -180 implies more certainty than the efficiency gap alone supports. Florida State at +150 offers value if either offense can string together possessions.
Florida State walks into L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium as a road underdog, but the line compressed from -4.5 to -3.5 since opening. Money showed up for the Seminoles even as 63% of public bets lean Louisville at home.
Louisville's record edge and home field are the surface case for the Cardinals. Early ACC leverage games often reward chalk. But a one-point compression tells you sharp action saw value in FSU at +4.5 and peeled off as the price tightened.
Today the models ran 4 games, 0 players, 24 lines. 0 made the card. The number says no far more often than yes.
Missouri held LSU to 18 points below season average, their third straight suffocating home effort. The market sees a Florida offense back at full strength; our number suggests the Tiger defense dictates pace. 0.5u on Mizzou +5.5 at -109.
Miami hasn't lost a road game by more than 14 all season. But Clemson in Death Valley at night is a different animal - our number shows these Tigers punching back inside two touchdowns. 0.5u +15.5 (-110).

Steelers–Browns arrives with a familiar story: Pittsburgh's pass rush against a Cleveland offense trying to keep the game on schedule. The real question is whether Cleveland can avoid obvious passing downs long enough to make that pressure less decisive.

That is why the loudest narrative can mislead. Rivalry history shapes the atmosphere, but tonight's mechanism is more immediate: who keeps the offense out of predictable passing situations, and who can still create when the defense knows what is coming.
1-1, +0.35U on the day. 2 — 1 won, 1 lost. Up 0.35 units on the day. +0.85u — Over 7 at -118, Chicago Cubs @ San Diego Padres. -0.5u — Phillies ML at +168, Philadelphia Phillies @ Atlanta Braves. It stays in the record either way.
No official plays today.
We ran 23 lines this morning- MLB playoffs. Nothing cleared the bar, so we're posting nothing.
That's the job. The model doesn't get bored, doesn't chase, doesn't invent an edge to fill a quiet slate. No number, no bet.
Not sexy, but that’s the point.
Anybody can hand you three picks on a dead day. We'd rather tell you the truth. Not betting when there isn’t an edge is the best way to protect your bankroll and minimize losing days.
