We are OVERWHELMED by the response to today's news. THANK YOU!
We will be leaving all content up and we hope people continue to read it.
And, as always, we hope everyone registers to vote and votes in the next election.
Thank you so much for the last five years.
P.S. Everything is 50% off at The Interval store until Sunday night!

You'll be hearing the name Lear deBessonet a lot this summer and for years to come. @victoriaspies took an in-depth look at deBessonet's career and faith.

A Big Thing that happened during the 2018/19 Broadway season: Leigh Silverman assembled Broadway's first all-female design team. And we documented it.

It's Friday. Why not start the weekend by reading about Bernadette Peters?

the number of women murdered every day in the U.S. by a male partner has gone up from 3 to 4 since I started performing this play last year. The U.S. is now one of the 10 most dangerous countries in the world to be a woman. Things are getting worse, not better. #ERANow
What a great Thursday to revisit our 2017 interview with Tony Award winner @celiakb! We spoke with her about her process as an actress, typecasting, being socially engaged, and more.

This was our Best Play mock-up and it’s fabulous and I kinda want to print them anyway since who says we can’t correct history?

We made a mock-up of a Women Who Have Won Best Play print and @desinasim had to put it in landscape because there were so few names.
Yes, all the names of women who have won the Tony Award for directing-- both plays and musicals-- can fit on one 5" x 7" print.
