Did not get the topic of your choice in PhD? Don't worry! Focus on the training. Your career and your PhD topic has the same relation your dream car has with the car you learn driving in. Instructor matter. @thisisarijit @AcademicChatter #PhdisNotYourLife #PhDisDrivingLicense
You want your PhD supervisor to be your Guide, Philosopher and friendly mentor. But if s/he is not, don't fret over it. Accept that s/he just your boss during your Phd, and find such mentor elsewhere. There are plenty. @AcademicChatter #empathy

Say I AM SORRY. Say, I LOVE YOU. Say, I DON'T FEEL WELL. Say, I NEED YOU. You do not need to pretend that all is well. You do not need to be perfect. You are already successful, because you have someone to talk to.

If you can't think of anyone, TALK TO ME. The people who matter in your life will never judge you. If they judge, then they don't matter. #empathy #AllLivesMatter
Say, 'I am sorry', the world will be grateful. Say, 'my apologies', the world will be with you. Cry, the world will make you laugh. But, if you push, the world will push back so hard that you would not know when your world collapses. #empathy #AllLivesMatter
