It was inspired by a beautiful video clip I was sent with my fathers name written on a pebble on the beach where he grew up in Ireland. It was sent to me on the day my father passed away.

This Saturday, 2nd of December, we will launch in Bradford with our Ambassador @DrAmirKhanGP at the Ridge Medical Practice for our #BetterTogether Cafe from 10am to 12 noon. Next Thursday. 7th of December, we will be in Wales, Cardiff with @rhianmannings and her team @2wishcharity at @peterstonelgc from 10am - 12 noon. Over the past 7 years since we launched our charity we have pioneered a number of key national initiatives that are now used by health professionals on a daily basis. Our Good Grief cards are a condolence and signposting tool, given to the bereaved from day one, to ensure those grieving under any circumstance can find the right support for their personal needs, where we they live. All @NHSEngland Trusts are now supplied with this resource & over 4000 GP practices. 250,000 bereaved families have been given our cards to date. However there is still a disparity in the provision and awareness of services across the country. It remains a postcode lottery whether the bereaved know what is available to them in their local area and nationally. It is vital that the bereaved know where to turn for help, and those working with them are fully resourced and aware of the breadth of services available.
