There are very few pre-2010 photos of Kardinia Park online. Do you have any you can pull out for retro round?

The AFL is in the entertainment business.
That puts me in the reviewing business.
No theme song, no outside coin toss, Game on before smoke cleared or chance to build atmosphere. I love Yeah Yeah Yeahs but not right choice of song.
ZERO STARS out of 5.

been working on this game, on and off, since covid! i think it’s finally ready to start some playtesting with friends!
Today’s camera angle is a thing of beauty. You can take @HawthornFC out of Waverley, but you can’t take Waverley out of Hawthorn!

Some great decisions of late from Andrew Dillon. What’s next? Get rid of ‘the kick?’ Goalposts? Make it an individual sport or perhaps doubles?

Dear @AFL
At AFLW games, why don't you close all gates on broadcast side and put supporters in outer?
There's clearly a crowd at Kardinia Park but we can't see them.

L: New radar, zoomed in (coz I can’t find dedicated 64km radar page). Town names turned off because they obliterate images.
R: Old 64km radar. Much sharper pixelation. Town names readable but don’t get in the way.
I’m not against change, but it should be for better, @BOM_au.

How incredibly sad.
You know, it was @Richmond_FC who was Preston's first ever opponents, when they joined the VFA in 1903.
When they took the field, all Richmond players lined up and gave them 3 cheers.
So, for old time sake.
Hip hip! Hooray

Game over: end of the line for 143-year-old Preston Bullants. What a sad day for Victorian football.

Geelong seem to get away with whatever they want as far as rules go in the AFL

With Seth Campbell finishing the season with 28 goals, 2025 makes it 33 of the last 47 seasons that a Tasmanian has won @Richmond_FC's goalkicking:
Michael Roach x 7 (one tie)
Matthew Richardson x 13
Jack Riewoldt x 12
Seth Campbell x 1

At the end of another home and away season and with the Box Hill City Oval redevelopment to start in a few weeks time, it is hard not to feel a bit nostalgic.
This weatherboard building - affectionately known as the "White House" - was built in 1951 for Box Hill's entry to the VFA. Originally it was the committee room.
I started in my role as match day manager in 1989 and this has been my match day office ever since.
In that time I have been match day manager over 300 times and I estimate I have counted over $2 million in gate receipts and other match day takings.
The White House will be gone soon but it has served the Club well. We will have two VFL finals at Box Hill this year so it hasn't been retired quite yet!
