Schools can impose any hair rules on pupils, even racist ones! @educationgovuk ... make 'appearance' policies statutory so you can protect pupils.

It’s a travesty that an organisation has to exist to destigmatise afro hair in schools. That the natural hair growing out of your head is weaponised against you. Don’t ever just say it’s only hair, when these institutions be it work or school consistently violate
