Indeed. I’m middle aged. I have been through a lot. Now I just view most people around me in public as downright evil. The ‘West’ is a deeply narcissistic, selfish society with an entrenched mindset of ‘Fuck you, I got mine.’ Most adults just are big babies who throw adult tantrums when they don’t get what they want. People use and abuse one another and justify it—lie to themselves about it. The ‘System’ is built upon exploitation and it has been ever increasing. But as long as people and their families and those they care about are ‘Okay’ then they will bully any others asking for a better, more equitable society. As long as they personally aren’t suffering, they don’t care. ‘Work harder.’ ‘You get what you work for.’ ‘People don’t want to work today.’ Especially in the US, it is an ultimate ‘crabs in a bucket’ mentality. People absolutely LOVE and get off on knowing that someone else is beneath them…especially in the social-class hierarchy. There’s bullying in schools to bullying in workplaces once you become an adult. Bullying in families. Pedophilia has been rampant not only in religious institutions but within the family unit. It’s a disgusting society, rotten to the core. Everything is monetized and for profit. Labor had been increasing exploited and lied to about said exploitation. That engrained ‘puritanical worth ethic’ has been stretched beyond reason. People don’t care unless it is happening to them. Period. Capitalism and the ‘System’ is GREAT and working fine if you are not one of the millions in the West suffering under it. The joy has been sucked out of everything. The ‘middle class’ hollowed out. There’s an increasing meanness within society and a general lack of empathy. And the governments are most often a mirror image of societal rot. I don’t want to ‘do this’ anymore and take life day by day. I’m over it. At this point death would be a kindness. Yet I keep going, hoping that the millions of others just like me finally stands up collectively. Humans are evil. And too many will say ‘evil’ is too strong of a descriptor but narcissism, selfishness, sociopathy, psychopathy, a lack of empathy…are all attributes of EVIL. It isn’t merely some caricature of a movie villain but is a descriptor of banal looking men in suits making decisions which actively harms and destroys millions. A lack of conscience.

This ‘System’ is a prison. For billions. Enough is enough. The youth are doing what should have been done long ago. The last 12 months I have faced death many times. Literally. Too many souls have been crushed. Lives forgotten. Forsaken by the very ‘System’ which holds up the few rich like idols to be worshiped. It has to end. There’s too much suffering.
