I made a new way to play the One Piece Card Game with a format called 'Trigger Treat' for Halloween!
Use 2 normal decks but replace your life cards with 100 of the most diabolical triggers in the game.
Resolve the trigger and all On Play effect to the best of your ability for the most volatile game of One Piece you'll ever play.

1st box, 10 packs in. Bandai is seriously testing me 😂 Of course I pulled the exact SP I’ve been questioning, so I guess it’s only right that I judge it with my own eyes.
Glitter: barely there. More like fine sandpaper with dull sparkles.
Emboss/texture: as suspected, no real character embossing. Mostly just glossy foil on the hair and accessories to differentiate them from the other body parts.
If the JPN stream showed the actual JPN card, then the difference is honestly huge. I rewatched the reveal and still think they look clearly different. I’m glad I pulled the SP, but the finish leaves me seriously underwhelmed until I see an actual close up of the JPN version.

My half case preorder from back in February arrived early. Time to see if the QC actually meets the standard. So far, the boxes look fine and the plastic seals are nice and tight, unlike some of the loose seals people have been reporting. Ripping now. Moment of truth 👀

A lot of people in the community only care about serials because it is the money spike, but for me I don't count them or care. I only care about wins. I played before the money got crazy and ill play after because all I want is to be the best player in the world and world champion.
I love mihawk. Over the last month I threw away a couple wins and got 2 2nd places so getting this win with him before hes gone has me so happy. Theres some decks that have been printed that I just need to win with, and im happy to say ive gotten a win with most of the decks ive felt that way about (doffy, imu, enel, mihawk)!
A lot of people say mihawk is a low skill deck but I completely disagree. It is no enel but I think it is one of the highest skill ceiling decks in the game and it rewards really high level players consistently. It also gets a lot of free wins in the hands of bad players, and is far too broken, so I understand both the frustration with the deck and why it had to be banned. BUT IM SO HAPPY I GOT A WIN WITH IT BEFORE IT DID!
Shoutouts the latam community and chile. Honestly the best region in the community. So kind, phenomenal etiquette, accommodating, and full of great players!!

yeah so basically trump got cocky after succeeding with venezuela and had a hot hand and decided to double down and strike iran in february thinking they could take over the country in a couple of weeks despite everyone telling him it was a bad idea and would drag on
nothing really happened and then Iran learned that they can actually close the strait of hormuz and were unsure if it would even work but now its become obvious they can do it and feel empowered. the iranians have a longer history as a culture and are slow walking trump as much as possible as they know that higher oil prices are going to ruin his odds in the midterms and weaken him
not only that but now higher energy prices are putting upward pressure on inflation and bond yields which has made the job of his new fed chair warsh who came in under a premise of potential rate cute but because of the iran war were entering a rate hiking cycle
the only person in the room who was trying to juggle all of this was scott bessent but after trying to juggle everything for so long he decided he was going to try and fight the bond vigilantes to lower bond yields and declared himself as the house. but he showed up to the bond fight with hardly any ammunition and now the bond market is calling his bluff and now the bond auctions are going terrible and he looks like a fool now
so now bond yields are surging export bans on diesel are being put in place as an act of desparation midterms are a total write off and the trump admin is about to spend the next two years probably fighting impeachment hearings while things continue to detoriorate and the funny thing about all of this is he won the presidency off the idea of no more foreign wars but its his own foreign war with iran that started this whole mess and now the free market is testing them all
