Here’s my review of #cozymystery A Deadly Affair in the Pirate’s Lair by @simonmichaelpri
suelbavey.wordpress.com/2024…
I relate to this. When I'm recommending thrillers or mystery books to customers, I never mention if there's a "big twist". That just prepares them for it. Instead, I'll tell them something like "the story is super compelling and took me on a crazy ride". Works just as well! 😇🙏
#Publishers, #BookPeople please stop advertising books as "with a twist you won't see coming" Once we know there's a twist we'll be watching for it. I finished a book recently that had a twist that I REALLY NEVER SAW COMING, I wasn't forewarned there was one. Much more effective
This is at the very top of my TBR list! Awesome review by Kerri.

I own an English copy of this beauty, and it is still, to this day, the crown jewel of my book collection. I found it decades ago in a little geek shop that sold all kinds of stuff, hidden behind other trinkets. Guy sold it to me for 60$. Best money I've ever spent on a book. 😇

I just discovered Ova on Instagram, and I've spent the last hour getting lost in her magical garden library and day to day adventures. This is the side of social media I adore. 📚🦆🥰

Finished this explosive and relentlessly awesome series just now. I had an absolute blast with it. Such a fun, fast paced story filled with memorable characters. Definitely kept me up reading late at night more than a few times. Happy I gave it a shot and will be recommending it!
Someone stole my reading spot. Will I move her, or will I sit elsewhere to allow her to sleep in peace?
Kitchen table here I come 🙃
We got this beauty at the store today! I snatched a copy for myself as soon as I saw it. Can't wait to discover the magic hiding behind that gorgeous cover.

What's your favorite Fantasy book/series you'd recommend for someone who loves the animal companion trope? I have a couple, but I'm looking for more! 🐺🦊🐱🐯🐻❄️🐮
After spending three weeks reading another trilogy that ended up disappointing me greatly, this book by @mikeshackle was a total breath of fresh air and an absolute thrill ride. Could not put it down. Already half-way done with book 2. 👀📚
