Of course Aberdeen will have a new manager before we play them away in a few weeks. A win up there is long overdue.

Spotted Iqbal pulling Yoro at FT. Looked like he was making point time was running out & ball had to go to Randall quicker. Think his counter argument was he managed an outrageous bit of skill 😂 Good to see them driving standards. Motherwell been our bogey team for years.

Draw was a fair result but a few chances where we should be doing better. Hopefully Merghem in for Bennie after the break. Ferry would make a big difference too but no idea what’s going on with him. Iqbal best player on park again. Also thought Randall was really good.

We had a 0-0 with (an admittedly better) Motherwell at Tannadice last December and it was awful. 31% possession and 1 shot on target. Regardless of outcome today, I’ll take watching this side every time.

I see Strain was man of the match for Falkirk tonight. He’s now on 5 assists in 11 Prem appearances. That’s how many he got in 52 for United so fair play to him.

Definitely raised an eyebrow when Iqbal was taken off but credit to Yoro & Camara who were good when they came on. In any other season they’d be starting games but have 3 top players ahead of them at moment. Agyei still to come back too. Some pool of centre mids we’ve assembled.

Deserved point. Case of what might’ve been because for all Celtic’s possession & pressure they never really cut us open or tested Walton much. Decent chances for Metsoko & Yoro to maybe snatch winner. The wait goes on but have to take the positives into Motherwell next weekend.

We’ve barely had a kick of the ball this half so it was expected but another really bad goal to concede. Switched off from short corner and Scales got the run on Forbes and Esselink.

Wow. An awful goal to lose (Celtic’s only shot on target as it happens) but what a response. Randall should’ve levelled it and we get our 2 goals quickly after. Need to get Iqbal on the ball as much as possible. Made 20/21 passes in that first half.

Thought a draw would’ve been a fair result yesterday but when you consider Sapford’s disallowed goal & Rose’s 2 sitters it really should’ve been more comfortable in the end. Hopefully a turning point for Sapsford. He’s the only 1 of 3 options we have who seems capable of scoring.

Thought that could’ve gone either way so great to come out on right side. After 4-0 at Killie, if there were 3 players I wouldn’t want to be out team for a period of time I’d have said Ferry, Agyei & Merghem. Definitely wouldn’t have expected 11 points in 5 games without them.

Step forward Lyall Cameron 👏 A good point on the road in the circumstances. Thought St Johnstone were very good in and out of possession.

Opening to this half as bad as we’ve been this season. No idea what we were trying to do. Changes should mean going back to the normal set up. Need someone to take responsibility. All too happy to play simple back passes. We need a goal ffs.

Has it been confirmed why Ferry missed today? So much for the international break being his pre-season. Haven’t missed him last couple of games which shows how good Ciubotaru has been. As a result, I wouldn’t be surprised if we tried Ferry left wing when he’s available.

A deserved win. I like watching this team, the 3 in middle of park especially but forward players desperately need to improve. So wasteful and the chance we did take Bennie knew very little about. Creating chances which is the main thing and defending a lot better.

6-2’d again.

Poor from Charlie Adam choosing to play for his big team.
