NEW: Disney Cruise Line is testing a new wearable Key to the World wristband during the Disney Treasure sailing departing today from Port Canaveral, Florida. In a letter to guests, Disney says the limited test is designed to explore a more convenient way for guests to access their stateroom and use other Key to the World functions onboard. Because this is only a test, Disney has not shared any information about additional tests on future sailings. Guests without a DisneyBand+ will receive the wearable during terminal check-in instead of finding a traditional Key to the World card outside their stateroom. The band will work only for this specific sailing and will be returned to Disney at the end of the cruise.
