On a day full of highlights at the @3CountiesCycle this was mine as Sean and I crossed the finish line to be welcomed home by our great friend Ritchie Walsh

Great day out @3CountiesCycle

Magazines were always better than the internet. Many teenagers dreamt of one day meeting their heroes in person and now those same teenagers who have grown into adults get to spend a full day cycling beside their heroes at the @3CountiesCycle on September 20th in Limerick

Nice day for a spin in Villamoura

A few cm closer and I might not be typing this now. I sometimes wonder if people ever consider when they are in a hurry just how close they come to life changing events for themselves and others.

At 80 kilometres per hour, there’s little room for bravado. On a cold descent in the Comeraghs, a familiar road, a new pothole and a moment of clarity reveal why experience often teaches us not how to go faster — but when to slow down. thecyclingblog.com/feather-t…

Random sightings on todays spin : 3 wise men and a camel in Tullahought. Santa in Danesfort. A half built house that turned out to be a monument to the architect who designed the White House in Washington. A stick maker and some random reindeers in Mulinahone.

Calpe for cycling and cakes

On days like today I always think that Gravel bikes are the Swiss Army knives of the cycling World.
