Hairston on where he feels he’s grown the most as a player as his role in the offense continues to grow as well. Hairston later told us he also worked heavily on his route releases this offseason with former Hokie WR (now coach) Cam Phillips.

Now some player interviews. First, TE Ja’Ricous Hairston, who says he was not surprised by how open Luke Reynolds was on the game winner on Saturday.

🥺 I really do love this guy! This saddens me, but it’s a reality. That’s why before we trash talk these young men, let’s think about what it truly takes to do what they’re doing.

Proud father, but I’ve learned that these numbers mean absolutely nothing. I just pray he gets an opportunity to prove himself. According to media outlets, he doesn’t stand a chance.
