No matter what the #WhiteSox do, Meidroth and Antonacci need to remain on the team. What they bring doesn’t always show up on a stat sheet but is strongly felt when it’s gone. If a trade happens, Colson is more expendable AND he’d net more in return. It’s a good problem to have.
Pick six for Jordan Love. That makes three now in his career.
You know who has zero pick sixes in his career? Caleb Williams.
Holy shit. Packers fans are doing hilarious mental gymnastics to try and keep the Caleb discourse negative. They are TERRIFIED. Enjoy the victory against our backup QB, losers. We are all the way back and taking our belt right to your ass in December. #DaBears

A Brewers vs Rays World Series would be the most competitve matchup of all possible playoff teams. Small market expansion teams or not, we couldn't get a better series in terms of pure baseball. I'm hoping that's how it plays out.
I think the #WhiteSox will (and should) give William Bergolla Jr. a good look to have a real role in 2027 if he’s healthy. Perhaps no one in the minors has a higher ceiling of bat-to-ball skills, even if he might never hit a major league HR.
Hilarious because at what point was his performance ever "enhanced?" #DaBears
This is exactly my point about the #WhiteSox considering trading Colson. It’s not that he’s a bust. Quite the opposite. He’s still valuable. But lineups require balance. We need more guys who can put the ball in play. This is why I also think pursuing Arraez would be useful.
The White Sox need to build an offense that can handle October pitching.
@SoxMachine_Josh explains why balancing power hitters with shorter, more compact swings will be CRUCIAL.
Here are my #WhiteSox grades for 2026. I’m also open to listening on all things Colson Montgomery. This doesn’t mean I’m calling him a bust. Quite the opposite. His value is rather high still. He’s just repetitive in our roster construction. There are lots of teams that need left handed SLUG and plus IF defense. He likely nets a solid return, and I’d be intrigued to know who would get offered for his services. I believe in trading from places of strength to address weaknesses. With Billy and Roch in pipeline likely to take over SS and 3B respectively, I’d at least explore what selling looks like. For as good as Colson has been defensively, his projections come nowhere near either of their ceilings.
The Chicago Pope retweeted
You’re laughing. Your uncle in the Rochester, NY suburbs just lost all of his online “friends” in a drone strike, and you’re laughing.
#DaBears can cut 8 contracts this offseason and create $90M in space.
There's also only $75M total on the books in 2028.
That's to say nothing of any coming cap raises and restructures.
Poles knows how to navigate the cap.
The Michael King to the #WhiteSox news is going to hit like crack.

My dream #WhiteSox offseason:
Sign Michael King + Luis Arraez
Trade Colson + Peters to ATL for Harris II + Strider
2B Sam L
DH Arraez L
3B Vargy R
1B Mune L
CF Harris R
LF Bonemer R
C Teel L
RF Braden S
SS Chase R
King
Strider
Burke
Schultz
Martin/Thorpe
That would heal me.
The #WhiteSox should sign 2 front end SPs. Burke becomes your 3 while Schultz, Hagen, Thorpe, Martin, etc. compete for the 4 and 5. They could sign any 2 of Skubal, King, Peralta, and Mahle, keep every current contract on the books, and still be a bottom 15 payroll.
No excuses.
