I agree.
I want the police to solve crimes, but we need clear rules about the reasons permitting searches of the license photos database.
The state insists on a licence to drive, and so they are in practice forcing people to be included on a police database.
Either there must be very strict rules governing when police can search the database or people must be allowed to opt out.
