Buell Lab Undergrad Researcher Allie Gordon presented her work this semester at the @UGA_CollegeofAg Research Symposium today!
Allie was a huge aide in optimizing nuclei isolations from various plant species/tissues for the end goal of inputting into single cell experiments
Excited to see this work on Peruvian Algarrobo (Neltuma pallida) that we collaborated on published in G3!

Our paper on Chia has been published in @plantgenome! We assembled the genome of Chia pinta, assessed population structure, and also examined terpene synthase composition between Chia pinta and Chia negra. doi.org/10.1002/tpg2.20494
