NOT ALL FILMS GET THAT HAPPY ENDING, but they’re still worth seeing. Not the result I wanted or believe I should have got, but that’s life. I’m not going to cry over it or blame the world. What hurts most is spending 15 weeks dreaming of showing my daughter what hard work gets you that British title. This one hurts, so I’m taking a break from social media and some time out of boxing. But if you’d told me 11 months ago I’d be fighting in back-to-back co-main events, I’d have told you to come off the medication 😂😂 @Queensberry @Leeeaton88 @KevinMaree you’ve changed my life this year. Whatever the outcome, I’ll be forever grateful. @AlexRutter2 love you, coach. You’ve become more than my trainer, you’re my big brother. Couldn’t ask for a better man to have my back. Time to rest with my family and my beautiful girls, then see what happens next. Not the ending I wanted, but the little boy inside me would be proud of what we did last night 💙 MGJ

IT’S FIGHT WEEK! 🥊🔥 Since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed of becoming British champion. This Saturday at The O2, it’s time to turn that dream into reality. Everything I’ve worked for. Everything I’ve fought through. All comes down to this. Manchester, let’s hear you loud in London! 🐝 @AlexRutter2 @KevinMaree @Queensberry
