I've beta read all but 1 of the latest batch of chapters from Faithless Gods - book 1 of Memories of Fire - and @_LLMacRae is absolutely smashing it out of the epic fantasy park. Every chapter has me intrigued, gripped and wanting more. This story is as stunning as its cover art.
🚨 Work has kept me a bit busy this week, so a late cover art reveal 🚨
Check out this awesome cover art by the very talented @maleski_art for @_llmacrae’s upcoming book, Faithless Gods that releases later this year, near NOV/DEC.

I couldn’t agree more with @PhilSpeculates review of The Hallows by @hollytinsl3y
One of the most original books I’ve read and one that should get far more attention.
The Hallows by @hollytinsl3y.bsky.social is a finalist in this year's #SPFBO and the second time one of her books has appeared in the final 10!
My review explains its success.
In an age of innovation in the fantasy genre - this book is a prime example.

It’s fascinating to experience the causes and build-up to this epic history from various viewpoints and it adds so much depth to the world lore and the overall series’ story.
I've got the pleasure of being on the beta team for this and I can promise future readers are in for a massive treat. With enthralling characters, setting and plot, Faithless Gods - book 1 of Memories of Fire - is shaping up to be as sizzlingly hot as its awesome cover artwork.
I am delighted to reveal the cover artwork for my upcoming series, MEMORIES OF FIRE!
It includes dragons like you've never seen before, meddling gods, flintlock vibes, & an animal companion
MEMORIES OF FIRE is an adult epic fantasy quartet & is my most ambitious series yet!
ALT A young man with a pied crow on his shoulder and a glaive on his back walks through the ruins of a battlefield. Blackened swords and arrows litter the ground and ash rains down from above. A god-killing Reaper dragon flies in front of him and stares out at us, flames in its jaws. This is the cover art for the upcoming Memories of Fire - an epic fantasy quartet. Book 1, Faithless Gods, will release at the end of 2026
I've just read the latest newsletter from @tadwilliams and my appetite is even more whetted for the release of The Splintered Sun in October. A Robin Hood-esque tale of outlaws promising adventure, drama and humour, it also means more Osten Ard lore and more wonderful Tad prose.
The truth is I'm so so so excited to have just received this beauty from @RCahillAuthor. Bring it on.
I'm so excited for this next Osten Ard book by @tadwilliams.
Absolutely epic. The advanced copies of the Splintered Sun by Tad Williams is shining in the sun, and we are so excited to dive back into the world of Osten Ard.

The Brotherhood of the Eagle series sank its talons into me and refused to let go. It hit like a dagger to the gut (or the back) and left me as shattered as a breached shieldwall or a broken brotherhood. My review of Broken Brotherhood by @TimHardieAuthor:

My review of Lost Gods by @TimHardieAuthor:
Hardie gets under your skin like the durath with yet another ambitious, gritty, politically-charged and character-powered tale of courage and betrayal, hope and despair.

I'm 20% into The Children of Gods and Fighting Men by @shaunaLwrites and am thoroughly enjoying the characters, plot, setting and razor-sharp prose. I was gripped within the first few pages, my expectations cunningly subverted, and the excellence has continued. I love it.

Broken Brotherhood by @TimHardieAuthor is a fantastic finale to a brilliant series. It has everything you could wish for from a final book and I particularly liked the focus on the “afterwards”. I’m so happy to be part of the brotherhood of readers who have discovered this story.
ALT Broken Brotherhood by Tim Hardie.
After not having much time to read the past couple of months, I'm back in the groove and racing through @TimHardieAuthor's Broken Brotherhood like a longship speeding across the Redfars Sea or a mighty clan warrior carving their way through an enemy shieldwall. It's bloody brill.

I've finished Lost Gods by @TimHardieAuthor and have to say The Brotherhood of the Eagle series has soared to even greater heights.
This Viking-inspired fantasy is a masterclass of epic saga craft.
The gods may be lost but these books have found a welcome home in my library.
