As a long time Macklemore defender for being a good, but corny, artist.. I have never felt more vindicated in my life. He never should've gotten that Grammy but I like The Heist.
Incorrect on both films. Eddington largely criticizes the entire culture war from both sides and identifies bad actors in both. Civil War has nearly zero actual investment in the "sides" of the conflict, the narrative is removed from what caused the war almost entirely.
The problem with Eddington and Civil War, as art, is that both aim to address the cultural divide but they put their fingers on the scale and suggest that “one side is worse.” For politics, that’s fine I suppose. For art about the insanity of culture wars, it’s death to narrative tension and propulsion. It’s why The Hunt is better than both. That movie had the balls to hold both sides in contempt.
Bad writing, bad characters, long-winded explanations of off-screen events, set ups with no payoffs. Kubo's strongest power is being able to design, everything else is just shoe leather compared to its colleagues in the Big 3. This fight means nothing and the ending is still bad.
its not very good music, in fact I think its quite bad. However, its weird that everyone's gotta go after how she looks.
Destin Daniel Cretton is going to explore shonen protagonist motif.
Destin Daniel Cretton explains they are going to explore Naruto's emotional journey in the live-action ‘NARUTO’ movie.
“Naruto's trajectory, his feelings of being an outsider, the feeling of having an ugliness or a monster or some part of you that you’re ashamed of, and then coming to realize that’s the part that makes you unique, that gives you your power.”
