there is a monster inside me. i will nourish it.

She sat down to eat her bowl of noodles. "I made these noodles myself. I'd hope they're not too bad..."

"You're lucky I had an extra bowl of noodles...hopefully it isn't cold-" Reaching over and picked up a bowl of noodles, setting it down in front of Tai Lung with a pair of chopsticks for him.

Tigress released her grip from his paw, seemingly more at ease with Tai Lung's presence... "I suppose I've been content...life goes on, few threats come and go from the valley. And as always, I keep up with training to stay on my toes...are you hungry?"

It took her a moment...she looked at his paw then looked him in the eyes. She reached over and shook his paw. "New beginnings."

"If you insist..." Tigress let out a soft hum.

"No-" She shook her head, looking up at Tai Lung. "I was never treated the same way you were. There's only one Tai Lung and only one Tigress. There's no such thing as replacements in his eyes. Even if he tries to..."

"So you want to start with me of all people..." Tigress' expression seemed to soften up just a bit. "Why not Shifu?"

"Let me make this clear..." Clenching both of her fists, knuckles cracking and popping. "One more slip up, one more mistake is all it takes for you to get your ticket back into the Spirit Realm...and you'll never have to worry about redeeming yourself...again."

"I'll be honest with you...it's hard not to be angry...not to want to kick you in the jaw a second time...but I'm still trying..." Tigress furrowed her brows and narrowed her eyes onto him. "Lucky for you, I'm feeling generous enough to give you a chance. It's only right I do."
