The Patrick Mahomes led Kansas City Chiefs had two years of being one of the “good guy teams” by a good portion of non rival NFL fan bases. 2019-2021. From 2022-2026 it’s just been:

Mansoor Delane is only the second first-round pick since 2000 to intercept a pass on the first defensive drive of their career, joining fellow first round pick of the Chiefs Marcus Peters who did so in Week 1, 2015, per @NextGenStats.

Pretty clear to me Brashard Smith should be the kick returner.

#Chiefs TE Travis Kelce says Eric Bieniemy returning as OC has brought back tough love: “The intensity is infectious. It makes you want to scream ‘motherf***’ at everybody doing the wrong thing. I love that sh*t. I don’t think there’s enough of that in this world, let alone in this building. ... We really missed it.”

#Chiefs HC Andy Reid says Adam Sandler, who officiated the wedding of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, gave the newlyweds one simple piece of advice: Just keep kissing. Reid explained what that means, via @edler_krysyan:

#Chiefs WR Rashee Rice was released from jail this morning after serving 30 days. He ran away from cameras and was taken away in a black SUV. (🎥@fox4kc)

We got a criminal and Walmart employees at WR, a podcaster and youth pastors at TE and “George Karlaftis” and friends at DE but at least we have our 12th CB role filled now.

If you don't think about the process at all, KC got some very good players in the draft. I'm just worried that if we continue sacrificing the offensive ceiling for the defense, we're going to be in a very bad place next offseason. KC has absolutely nothing going for it in terms of pass catchers in 2027.

Chiefs basically said “yes, let’s sign the most athletic undrafted free agents of all time and see what happens”
