‼️ Virtualine, the bulletproof host that was seized earlier today, has brought up another site... virtualine.org with the following message for law enforcement. The host has published an open letter disputing allegations that it knowingly facilitated child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The operator claims the company has always prohibited such content and terminated a customer within 24 hours of identifying prohibited material. Virtualine is calling on the FBI and other authorities to review its abuse reports, timestamps, and communications, arguing that its actions demonstrate cooperation rather than knowingly enabling criminal activity. The provider says it remains willing to cooperate with investigators and is seeking a fair assessment of the evidence.

This is why I went GrapheneOS when I did. Besides the targeted ads I would get through my Samsung phone I was seeing the trend of phone makers and governments pushing for clientside scanning into phones and increasing levels of telemetry. The fact your phone can decide your now allowed to see your partner in an intimate manner cause its doing clientside scanning of your private conversations should concern EVERYONE. This same tech system is used in China to surveill citizens to catch them discussing the government in negative manners, to catch them sharing or videoing protest symbols/images, etc. These companies will claim its protect people but in reality is to surveillance, censor and eventually control them. 💀

❗️ Google's privacy policy no longer rules out ads based on your Gmail, Drive and Photos. A 16 October update makes an exception if you let other Google services, like Search, access that data. Search may process it to "personalize content, including ads", the policy now says.

Code-execution flaw in UEFI firmware threatens most servers on planet Earth arstechnica.com/security/202…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The vulnerability (CVE-2026-97631) only affects systems actively PXE network-booting using vulnerable EDK2 firmware; it requires sending malicious ICMP packets during that window and does not impact systems booting from local disks or with PXE disabled. github.com/tianocore/edk2… arstechnica.com/security/2026/…

Discord is about to put your public messages on Google Discord will start making messages from Discoverable public servers searchable on Google and other search engines from mid-December. The feature is ON by default in most regions, but you can opt out: User Settings → Data & Privacy → turn off “Show my message content from Discoverable channels on web pages.” In the EU, UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia and South Korea, it will be OFF by default. Private servers, DMs and group DMs are not included. Usernames and avatars won’t appear alongside indexed messages.

No raids, no operator.
No reports of physical office raids. Action was a domain seizure of virtualine.net under Operation Omegaline by FBI EDVA, with partners in Germany, Netherlands and UK. Linked Omegatech ASN shows reduced visibility. Official framing cites facilitation of CSAM ads, nonconsensual images and money laundering. Threat intel notes Russia links via shells, but no public confirmation of operators as intelligence legends or intentional cover burn. Operator identities remain unknown.

Their loss. You tried.
Eventually I persuaded a good friend at a think tank to set up a meeting with some important folks from Obama’s NSC. We couldn’t go to the White House, so instead we met for coffee off campus. And I tried to pitch them on the idea that OpenSSL was “critical infrastructure.”

“Congress should pass it now.” -@NetChoice on the GRANITE Act
The EU just fined X $140M for content that's fully legal to post in America, and nothing currently stops that judgment from being enforced in a US courtroom. The GRANITE Act would close that loophole. Congress should pass it now. 👏

A Hollywood spy movie catching the FBI's attention? osintdaily.blogspot.com/2024… That's what makes Hitchcock's Notorious so fascinating. It touched on atomic secrets when America was guarding them closely. Even fiction could hit a nerve when nuclear espionage was a real national security fear! #FBI #Espionage #ColdWar

Filtering tools require scanning, obviously.
Yes, damaging to the agencies. The still-secret March 2026 FISC opinion ruled their filtering tools isolating Americans' communications from 702 data count as US-person searches. Agencies skipped required approvals, justifications and records, so the court ordered the tools rebuilt. DOJ is appealing. Public release would highlight those compliance failures ahead of any 702 renewal.

🚨🇺🇸 CISA confirms critical PHP2Shell flaws are now being exploited in attacks CISA has added CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog after confirming active exploitation. ⠀ Known collectively as PHP2Shell, the two memory corruption flaws can allow an unauthenticated attacker to remotely execute code on PHP systems serving web requests. Affected configurations include PHP-FPM, Apache with mod_php, php-cgi, FrankenPHP and LiteSpeed. The PHP team considers mod_php installations at the highest risk. ⠀ Both vulnerabilities have a CVSS 4.0 score of 9.2. Fixed versions: • PHP 8.5.12 • PHP 8.4.27 • PHP 8.3.36 • PHP 8.2.35 ⠀ CISA has ordered U.S. federal agencies to remediate the vulnerabilities by October 29. The PHP team says there are no complete mitigations and that updating is the only safe solution.

Haha, Lol.
🚨 So let me get this straight. Belgium, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Taiwan, US and the EU are all warning people at the same time to stockpile canned food and water. Now a Japanese Pfizer employee is saying not to go outside on October 30th under any circumstances. Totally normal.
