BREAKING: President Trump has rejected Iran’s proposal for a 7-day ceasefire and has told aides he expects to begin bombing Iran after the November midterms, per WSJ.
Iran’s proposal would have reopened the Strait of Hormuz and resumed nuclear talks in return for the US lifting its blockade of Iranian ports.
Trump is reportedly skeptical Iran will meet his demands and has told his staff that he sees a renewed bombing campaign as likely.

As Telegram-native collectibles grow into a real market, the UX around ownership and security has to grow with it
A few takeaways from the Magic Eden craziness.
1) Man @0xQuit is the hero this industry didn't even know it needed.
2) We are way too trusting of developers who mean well but are unregulated, unprotected by any legal system, and have limited safety rails. It's one of crypto's biggest flaws.
3) This issue in 2 is much worse in the AI age where no mistake goes unpunished.
4) Your WETH and USDC are vulnerable too, not just NFTs. Move your coins to fresh wallets that have never given permission to anything. And move WETH to ETH.
5) Unless you've done a full audit of your wallets recently, you probably have more vulnerabilities than you realize.
6) Most people get hit eventually. So have compassion towards people who get robbed as opposed to yelling about their poor opsec.

Remember how Trump pulled $57M+ from WLFI sales?
Now senator from his own party wants their family's crypto investigated. Republican senator John Curtis sent a letter on September 21 asking the Senate Judiciary Committee to dig into Donald Trump Jr's business deals
Foreign real estate and defense investments are on the list too, but the crypto side is what stands out:
> $WLFI, the Trump family's DeFi project that raised $550M across two token sales
> $USD1, the stablecoin WLFI launched
> Kalshi, which brought Trump Jr on as strategic advisor in January 2025
> Polymarket, where Trump Jr's VC fund 1789 Capital invested before he joined its advisory board too
Why does the prediction market part matter so much?
Kalshi and Polymarket are both regulated by CFTC, the federal agency that decides what they can and can't offer, so both depend heavily on its decisions
Keep in mind that CFTC's commissioners are appointed by the president, so his son is advising platforms whose rules get set by his own dad's picks
Curtis also wants Hunter Biden subpoenaed alongside him, so both presidential sons would have to answer for their crypto side hustles
And of course, $MELANIA topped at $13 the day before the inauguration and now trades 99% lower, with a class action alleging the launch team quietly dumped on degens
