Lanterns finale had zero fights, not a single construct, and barely any green, but it was still somehow a perfect ending

"I ove you too" made me tear up. I have some issues that I'll talk about in the video I'm working on. But overall, I'm incredibly glad that Lanterns can exist. To me, it's deeply loving of the source material, while analyzing it from a dark raw and emotional lens.

Can we talk about how great the cinematography in Lanterns have been all season?

Genuinely how do you watch this show and think they are clowning on Hal when every episode he becomes a more layered deep and rich character. Kyle Chandler is just amazing in the role

That episode made me tear up 2 different times, so I'm not gonna look at the timeline which will be Hal fans yapping about the fact they made his Dad suicidal. I'm a Hal fan, I read all the stuff growing up, I was floored by the authenticity.

DCU Hal Jordan and Titans Dick Grayson are inherently very similar takes on their respective characters.

I like the weight this show adds to wearing the ring. It’s not just some device to kick ass with, it can consume you like the one ring in LOTR. Seeing Hal desperately cling to it one last time and John feeling empty taking it. Good stuff.

Loved John’s origin, and so many of the ideas, but I thought the dialogue itself was too much telling when the showing was so great and powerful enough. That said Aaron is wonderful, and I love the pathos they gave John. When Hal showed up I died laughing in the best way.

All people can seem to talk about is Hal’s Green Lantern suit design, but those opening 5 minutes were impeccable. The show will have its haters, irrespective of the actual quality, but I can say that I am absolutely in. I can’t wait for episode 1 to come out! ❇️
