Discovered? Ask the indigenous people about the discovery and its date. They will just smile because they know of the British conquering. πŸ€— – at Phuthaditjhaba, South Africa
Kaieteur Falls in Guyana is considered the world’s largest single-drop waterfall. It was discovered by British geologist Charles Barrington Brown in 1870.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Kaieteur falls was long known by the indigenous population before Barrington’s visit, with three native people acting as guides in their expedition jstor.org/stable/1784230 en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaieteur_…

We are engaging with the Minerals Council SA on the state of SA's mining industry & the development of SA's critical minerals strategy. We are convinced that Mining & Petroleum sectors have the potential to make this country greater than we can ever imagine. #InvestSA

The new Miss SA is a member of the disabled community. Her winning is a big step towards inclusivity. I’d be weary of diminishing her win to β€œwhiteness” instead of seeing this as a milestone for representation especially with the stigma surrounding people with disabilities.

I used to love Elon Musk, but that dude doesn’t seem to like Muslims at all. The richest man in the world doesn’t seem to care for us much. All these powerful white dudes seem to feel victimised by non whites. It’s very perplexing. Maybe I’m stupid, but isn’t it the smartest idea to push for the oneness of humanity? But he seems to support our dehumanisation. I want him to achieve his goal and get to Mars. It’s an interesting aspiration. But I wish he finally gets to Mars and all the Martians greet him with Salaam Alaykum. #peace #oneness #humanity

Doing your best isn't enough, if your best isn't good enough. There’s a huge difference between doing your best and doing what’s required. If your best is less than what’s required, it means nothing Learn OR perish!!!
