The worst part is the recoil becomes the force of a lever, and the center mass of the robot is the pivot. The first shot may be accurate. But the barrel will rise dramatically and return to target will be absurdly slow. Rapid fire will be horribly inaccurate. Useless design TBH.

Natural gas runs most taxis and busses where I live. Surprisingly saved us money. Govt agencies normally despise doing that. It's definitely not racing fuel. But works good in city traffic. Bio diesel was tried here. Only worked if the used oil was stolen or free. Lol

Natural gas has been for Cat electrical power generation engines for a long time. It took a while to figure out how to use it right. But is a normal thing now. Eventually a new fuel will come along.

Did you put supports inside or just let it go and hope the inside was ok? I have been wanting to set one printing. But haven't figured that part out yet. Lol.

Have you looked into synthetic fuels. They are gaining efficiency and power in less and bounds. Toyota made an ammonia engine that is really interesting.

EVs are not clean by any means. Destroying 3rd world countries getting the materials. The whole push for green currently will have massive repercussions very soon. Because it's anything but green.

Diesel electric was designed to get the mechanical drive train out of the way and have direct drive motors to the ground. It doesn't have to be Diesel. The same 3500 and 3600 series Cat engines run off natural gas too. A new fuel source is what's needed.
