keeping the @poteto vs @thsottiaux fights aside for a min @claudeai projects is the best ui i've seen for managing projects threads inside a project feel just like slack. super intuitive. and you can see all your threads in one place otherwise my sidebar had gone to infinity. now i'm back to just seeing projects how to measure your efficiency in a day: more threads, more work done

"start 2026 with pro google gemini" it's october, @GeminiApp. even the new year's resolutions on that poster gave up months ago

Watched a man scream at two vehicles for jumping a red light, and then immediately ride off on the wrong side of the road. Traffic sense isn't a principle, it's a mood that lasts exactly as long as you're the one being wronged.

asked @ChatGPT for a few different angles on a post. it gave me the angles, then forgot to hide the scaffolding xitter.cf/ThatikuntaAlok/status/…
Funny how you only notice a feature once it’s gone. @bot needs draft sync across devices. Slack has quietly made this feel like table stakes

asked @bot to draft a post about grok bot and tag it. it tagged @grok. i get it. that's confusing for humans too

finally chat and code are the same dark theme on @claudeai. thanks. one weird leftover: cmd-click a new code window and the font is bigger than the normal one

things i love about @bot: you can tell it to change its name and description right in the chat. the interface actually feels like talking. chatgpt still occasionally sneaks in random non-english characters into the title

just downloaded grok bot. this one was posted from @bot 's computer, not mine.

just did @bot onboarding. download wasn't even the latest, so the app updated, restarted, then onboarded me again. that's a bug, right?

what matters is never the failure itself — it's the response, the lesson, and whether the system is genuinely more resilient afterwards. resilience isn't designed in one pass. it accumulates, one bad day at a time. xitter.cf/EndiyaVC/status/209033…
Production incidents are inevitable. Repeated failure is not. We brought our portfolio CTOs together to unpack what real incidents reveal about building reliable systems. A failed deployment. A missed alert. A cascading failure. Key learnings from the session.

everyone's been posting that AI made their wifi faster 📈 i asked mine why my uploads were slow and it turned out the problem wasn't my router — it was another mac on the network quietly relaying all my icloud traffic 🧵👇 xitter.cf/ThatikuntaAlok/status/…
Ubiquity is so ridiculously good. Just did a full apartment upgrade. Cloud router, three U7 Pros. Added a local admin account for an agent. Had Claude optimize all the radio channels, tune mesh settings, and ensure all devices roamed ideally. SCI-FI!

til macOS will silently route your iCloud uploads through a random other Mac on your wifi, and will not mention this at any point 🧵

⏳ and after it was turned off, my mac kept trying the dead cache. apple documents this: "client devices automatically discover changes, but it takes some time." restarting, or bouncing wifi off/on, skips the wait.
