Staying in the game and buying the dip. Thanks to @anonkyc for a place to trade $DigiDollar $DD. Used my $DD to trade for ethereum:0xa0b86991c6218b36c1d19d4a2e9eb0ce3606eb48, then traded $USDC for digibyte:native. Able to hold my original $DGB create $DD and buy almost 1/2 million more $DGB on crypto.com Pretty cool how that works.

Constantly working! @jaredctate Iโ€™m blown away by all work you and the team have been able to do over this past year and a half. Also all the tweaks and updates taking into account suggestions. $DGB rocks! Thank you to the community and all those actively coding to make $DGB and $DigiDollar even better.
digibyte:native Core v9.26.7 is here. Huge thank you to everyone for the feedback! This will be the last release for awhile. This is a smaller release with a few speed & UI Fixes. Everyone needs to be on v9.26.6 or .7 by end of October. Especially Oracles & DigiByte services. Let's go! ๐Ÿš€

digibyte:native at ~$0.0042 โ€” up ~70% over the last 90 days even after September's shakeout. Meanwhile DigiDollar keeps growing: $235K+ circulating, 150M+ DGB locked as collateral, 300%+ ratios. The 2014 PoW original is still building. #DigiByte

We talked about putting our money where our mouth is tonight on the chat. digibyte:native and $DD are where itโ€™s at. Thank you @anonkyc for the joining the party. Hopefully we can stimulate this market a bit. Also I got my 9.26 and what a dream! It loaded in about 8 minutes, mind blown. I was able to hop on add some $DD to my trading account then sold some $DGB to get my $DD 50%off current market price.

This is big! Creates lots of real world opportunities for $DigiDollar $DD
๐Ÿšจ BREAKING Stablecoins could receive a major boost under a new U.S. Senate draft that would exempt certain everyday stablecoin transactions from taxation. For DigiDollar, supporters see this as another sign that stablecoins are moving closer to real-world spending and everyday use. Why DigiDollar stands out: ๐Ÿ”’ Time-locked $DGB collateral ๐Ÿ”‘ User-controlled keys ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ No centralized issuer ๐Ÿฆ No bank-held reserves As stablecoin adoption expands, attention may increasingly turn toward decentralized alternatives such as DigiDollar. #CryptoNews #Blockchain #DigiByte #DigiDollar #DGBBREAKING $DGB $DD

WHAT MAKES DIGIDOLLAR ($DD) DIFFERENT FROM OTHER STABLECOINS LIKE USDT & USDC? Most stablecoins rely on a company, bank, or centralized entity somewhere in the system. DigiDollar takes a different approach. Built directly into the DigiByte blockchain, DD is designed as a decentralized, self-custodial stablecoin where users lock their own digibyte:native as collateral and mint DD directly through DigiByte Core Wallet. ๐Ÿ›ก No centralized issuer ๐Ÿฆ No bank holding your collateral ๐Ÿ— You keep your private keys ๐Ÿšซ No protocol-level freeze function ๐Ÿ”— Native to the DigiByte UTXO blockchain ๐Ÿ’ฐ SO WHAT ACTUALLY BACKS DD? DigiByte (digibyte:native). Users lock DGB in their own wallet as collateral and mint DigiDollar against it. Depending on the lock period, the protocol uses collateral ratios ranging from 200% to 1000%, providing substantial collateralization rather than relying on a company simply holding dollars in a bank account. โ“ WHY IS DD NOT ALWAYS EXACTLY $1 ON EXCHANGES? DD may trade slightly above or below $1 on an exchange. This is normal and can happen because of liquidity, the number of buy and sell orders, and trading demand. When you mint DD, your DGB is locked as collateral according to the required collateral ratio. Once the lock period ends, you can burn the required amount of DD to unlock your DGB collateral. You get back the same amount of DGB that you originally locked - not less and not more. ๐Ÿšซ CAN SOMEONE FREEZE YOUR DD? That's one of the biggest differences. DigiDollar isn't issued by a company with a centralized blacklist or freeze button. The protocol operates through DigiByte's blockchain rules, cryptographic signatures, time locks and on-chain validation. Your DD is controlled by your wallet keys - not by a company, bank or administrator. So, no one can ever freeze your DD. ๐Ÿ’ก THE BIG IDEA With a traditional stablecoin, you're ultimately trusting an issuer. With DigiDollar, the goal is to move that trust toward code, cryptography, blockchain consensus and self-custody. DGB is the collateral. DD is the stable unit. You control the keys. The protocol handles the rules. That is what makes DigiDollar one of the most interesting stablecoin designs being built directly into a UTXO blockchain. ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿ— AND THEN THERE'S DIGI-ID DigiByte also has Digi-ID, an open-source authentication protocol that uses cryptographic signatures to let users log into supported websites and applications without traditional usernames and passwords. You can scan a QR code, approve the login through a compatible wallet, and Digi-ID uses a cryptographic signature to authenticate the session. Digi-ID can be used for: ๐ŸŒ Website & app login ๐ŸŽฎ Game access ๐Ÿข Physical access systems ๐Ÿ›’ E-commerce ๐Ÿ›ก Additional authentication It also avoids requiring the service to store a traditional password, reducing risks associated with password reuse and password databases. ๐Ÿ‘‰ Learn more about DigiDollar: digibyte.io/digidollar ๐Ÿ‘‰ Learn more about Digi-ID: digi-id.io

Read all the comments! @ScryptWallet has a Mobil wallet with the ability to mint $DD if I read everything correctly. Way to go! Letโ€™s keep cooking. Looking forward to checking out the Mobil wallet and seeing how it works with $DGB and $DigiDollar on my iPhone.
Replying to @DigiByteCoin
Scrypt Wallet derives a BIP86 Taproot key from your recovery phrase. To mint, it calls DigiByte Core, which prices DGB via a 7-of-35 MuSig2 oracle, locks the required collateral for your chosen term and issues DD. After expiry, redeem burns DD and releases the DGB to your wallet.

The truth is DigiDollar is a safety net when the system fails. Where does money go when the fiat system breaks down: when bonds stop looking safe, retirement accounts are trapped in paper claims, and the dollar is no longer trusted as a store of value? A lot of that capital will look for Bitcoin. Hard cap. No issuer. Already treated as digital reserve. The other half of the problem is the *unit*. People still think and price in dollars. They still need something that spends like a dollar without sitting in a bank or a company-issued stablecoin that can be frozen. That is the job DigiDollar is built for. DigiDollar is a USD-pegged unit on the DigiByte blockchain. You lock DGB in a time-locked vault that you still control. Against that collateral, the protocol mints DigiDollars designed to track $1. When the lock ends, you burn the DigiDollars and get your DGB back. No bank holds the reserve. No company can freeze the issuance. The collateral is on-chain and auditable. DGB itself cannot be inflated past 21 billion coins. Every DGB locked to mint DigiDollars is pulled out of circulation for the lock period. DigiDollar is not โ€œprinted.โ€ It only exists while scarce DGB is locked behind it. So the split is simple: - Bitcoin / DigiByte โ€” where you park scarce value if paper assets fail - DigiDollar โ€” the dollar you can hold and move on-chain without trusting an issuer If more people understand that, DigiDollar is not just another stablecoin. It is a safety rail for the moment the old parking lot fail. Learn more > digibyte.io/digidollar #DigiByte #DGB digibyte:native $DigiDollar

This is huge! Think about it, you hold/keep your collateral. You are the issuer and, for every $DigiDollar out you put the same amount back in to get your collateral regardless of price change on you collateral. Revolutionary! Check out $DGB and $DigiDollar something new is brewing. @jaredctate and the $DGB team completely changed the game.
Centralized stablecoins ask you to trust the issuer and its reserves. DigiDollar asks you to verify time-locked $DGB collateral on-chain. Two fundamentally different trust models. Donโ€™t trust the money. Verify the collateral. $DD $DGB
