BREAKING: Charlotte will host the WTA Finals at the Spectrum Center from 2027-2029.
Governor Josh Stein, WTA and the Charlotte Sports Foundation will hold a press conference this afternoon to make the announcement.
Also part of the deal, Charlotte has landed the global headquarters of WTA.
WTA is also committed to hosting an annual WTA 500 event in Charlotte after 2029 if a dedicated tennis facility is built.
