It is quite disappointing the community didn't support TPL. Don't really know why the community didn't buy into it, especially after the format change, teams and players wanting to be in the spotlight would have benefit from this heavily

Unfortunately at this time, the signup situation for TPL 9 has not improved. As a result of this, TPL 9 is postponed indefinitely.
Our goal is to return in Q1 of 2027, though we will use some time over the winter to evaluate the amateur ecosystem before making any decisions. Providing high quality amateur events is our top priority, and we will not sacrifice the standards we've set just for the sake of hosting an event.
We appreciate the support we've gotten over the past several weeks and we hope you all have a great holiday season ☃️☃️

Quick heads up, for our D+ classes in both EMEA and NA.
We will be removing the warning for first offences of rule breaks regarding scrims. As we have found that teams over the years no longer feel inclined to report things due to offenders only getting a warning.

Signup!!! While we appreciate the support we have gotten for the new XGS format, the scene also thrives when events with qualifiers drives teams to practice and grow together in order to make an event and be seen by top tiered teams and eyes
TPL and XGS are very tightly knit and we thrive off seeing teams compete in as many events as possible. Hope to see you all this weekend!!!

We are still EXTREMELY low on qualifier signups and wanted to answer some common questions we've gotten!
Qualifiers ONLY take place on Saturday & Sunday. The 4pm start time is only because we have eliminated the Friday games in favor of compressing the schedule into 2 days.
Signups for the lone qualifier are $55. 5 Teams will qualify for the main event, joining our 7 invited teams.
Invited teams were hand-selected & had to pay for their spot! They dont get to play for free and we invite them in order to ensure the quality of competition in our event is as high as we can make it.
As of this moment, We still have 5 invited teams to announce. Those teams will be announced this week and we hope to see the amount of signups take a turn for the better!

I don’t think people understand how ‘Pro Cord’ works.
Creators/Pros can submit clips (to my knowledge) and Ubisoft has FINAL SAY. THEY CANNOT BAN PLAYERS AUTOMATICALLY.
A lot of people literally go against Terms of Service, whether it’s sharing accounts, ‘smurfing’, and/or etc. And those who say they don’t, are literally lying. There are a few people who are quote on quote, ‘false banned’, and it’s rare.
Why not get rid of more people who are suspicious, or playing on another account while BANNED on their mains?? It LITERALLY is against ToS to play on another account while banned. (recent ban player iykyk).
People are so forgetful and think they have a free pass when playing a game made by a multibillion dollar company, while devs and their company HAVE LAWS AND REGULATIONS TO UPHOLD.
The R6 community has let cheaters and ToS evaders roam and be free in this community for too long. Glad they are finally cracking down on people who are/have abused the system.

It’s become nothing more than content creators dissecting gameplay after getting walked down, then acting like every suspicious death is proof of something. Banning people off vibes, speculation, and “this looks weird” with no concrete evidence is fucking ridiculous and completely unprofessional.
If you’re going to ruin someone’s reputation or career, bring REAL proof. Not clips, not speculation, not witch hunts.
