Kyle Tucker deserves to watch those moonshots go over his sorry head. You don’t get a free ring loser.

"Three home runs in game... I didn't even give up one the whole year, so to have three in a game is pretty frustrating." Blake Snell after the Dodgers' 6-2 loss to the Brewers to go down 3-0 in the #NLCS @CBSLosAngeles

You can take a player out of the Angels, but you can never take the Angels out of a player.

If Mozeliak thinks Kurt should stay as manager, that should be a strike against his candidacy to remain as POBO/GM. Go big name hunting, Kevin Demoff. Go get the best of the best from LA, MIL, TB or CLE. Don’t settle. Be proactive.
Sam Blum@SamBlum3Sep 28
News: John Mozeliak said he wants to retain Kurt Suzuki back as Angels manager. However, he said it’s not his decision. It’s up to the next ownership group. Mozeliak said he’s been coordinating with Kevin Demoff at KSE.

INVESTIGATION: Before Mark Walter sold the Lakers, he bought the Dodgers. Then came $350M via Magic Johnson — and hidden deals with each other. "Magic Johnson helped him out with the Dodgers deal," insider reveals. "They're trying to...put him on the map of being a billionaire."

The Dodgers' local-TV deal is a profound competitive advantage. Because of a bankruptcy-court ruling, the team will shield more than $1.3 billion from rev sharing over 25 years. What you might not know: They further monetized it through debt deals with Mark Walter-owned insurers.

Interesting nugget in Angel Land. Leveque spent nearly 20 years working in the Cardinals player development system, the majority of those years under Angels interim GM John Mozeliak. His final season with St. Louis was last year.

The Los Angeles Angels fired pitched coach Mike Maddux, assistant pitching coach Darryl Scott and bullpen coach Dom Chiti, sources tell ESPN. Maddux joined them in the offseason and was working on a one-year contract. Angels pitchers have a 4.53 ERA and the most walks in MLB.
