✨We have a superstar✨
Lexi has become the youngest female Rugby League Referee EVER to lead a Men’s Open Age rugby fixture!
Last weekend she refereed the Yorkshire League clash between Oulton Raiders v Sherburn Bears just one day after turning 16! 👏🏼

John was like a father figure to me…. A huge support and influence throughout my career and many others. No nonsense, a great coach and mentor and one of the finest referees there has ever been, my thoughts are with Mo at this sad time as we remember a wonderful man RIP Jonty
Had some great laughs with Billy over the years, a proper rugby man as an official and then at Batley, I shall never forget you chasing Offiah in the ‘94 Cup Final or Dad pulling you out of the middle of a fight, thank you for all your encouragement RIP Pal #littlebillyblunder
Gutted….. in my eyes the best Referee there has ever been, sleep tight Fred and thank you….. 😢
Replying to @RFLReferees
@RFLReferees are saddened to hear of the passing of former Referee Fred Lindop MBE. A Grade One referee from 1967-88 he refereed the 1970 World Cup Final and 5 Challenge Cup Finals to name a few. He will be remembered as one of the greatest ever Rugby League officials. RIP Fred.

@RFLReferees send their condolences to the family and friends of former Huddersfield Grade One Referee Mick Beaumont who has passed away aged 82. Mick was a highly respected referee in the 70/80s taking charge of over 200 Pro games, aspiring many up and coming Referees. RIP Mick.
What a Rugby Player, but an even better family man, so many happy memories of when we were growing up as kids and the fun you allowed us to have…… my thoughts are with Dan, Kurt, Alex and the Beardmore Gang, now go enjoy a fag and a Carling with Grandma Joyce RIP Uncle Kev X
The RFL sends its condolences to the family and friends of former @CTRLFC hooker Kevin Beardmore, who has died at the age of 62.

Remembering one of the Greatest Officials to ever grace the game of Rugby League Billy Thompson MBE. A players Referee and undoubtably one of the most honoured and respected there will ever be. State of Origin, Challenge Cup, World Cup Final to name but a few honours RIP Billy
Great character and more so a lovely bloke, who has had a big influence on many referees careers, you will be missed on match days, thank you for your friendship and always having my back, now enjoy your retirement Marra and don’t be getting under Beryls feet #Cliffylad #respect
Such a shame.... great show, a different insight into the sport and not the norm in any sense of imagination but it worked, some great characters, I really enjoyed visiting their studios and being on their show but more so the enthusiasm the guys brought to match days.......
The realisation that @RugbyAM is coming to an end is really sad. Me and JJB will put a video out in the next week or so to let you all know why, the only constant in life is change. Keep smiling and keep moving forward 🙌🏾

We were saddened to hear of the passing of former teacher Errol Malish over the weekend. Errol was a highly respected teacher and was very popular with both students and staff having taught in Normanton for 45 years. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
