One the best nights of my life. That year was absolutely hell. 6 months prior on May 11, I held my son in my arms as he took his last breath. Worried about my wife taking her last.
The night we got to rush the field together was one of the greatest nights in my life.
It was also the 10 year anniversary of the Tennessee Vols dedicating the 2012 Bama game to my brother. He would die the next day after a 7 year battle with cancer. Herman Lathers and Curt Maggitt made it happen.
This is why I’m a Tennessee fan. They’ve always had my back. #VFL 🍊
