ALT a comic page that shows a scene of Dot trying to pull Buddy out of the ink, from the end of the Dreams Come To Life book, when suddenly she asks him if he wants another chance. Buddy is confused, but says if he could do this again, he wouldn't leave her. Dot says "okay" and suddenly her eyes and hand are glowing. We see the sequence of Buddy being eaten and waking up as a Boris fade away as Buddy wakes up on the floor of Joey Drew Studios, being helped up by Joey Drew, who is saying "Hey, you okay? Come into my office, kid."
ALT the second page of a comic, some time has passed and Buddy's running up to the front door of Joey Drew Studios as a young woman holds the door for him -- he suddenly recognises her as Dot, and she squints at him and asks, "Why do you know you?" Buddy sort of frantically tells her that he's Buddy, and she's Dot, and this sounds crazy, but they used to be friends, but when he starts to doubt what he's saying, Dot interrupts him to say, "No, Buddy, I understand." She's smiling with relief and adds "You have no idea how much I understand."
