Tez Capital has injected a Quebec protocol variant named Q3NA
What is the Q3NA proposal?
The Q3NA proposal is a 3rd generation (after Qena and Qena42) proposal, intended to accomplish the same common Adaptive Issuance economic goals as stated in the QuebecB and Quebec proposals, using a slightly different approach. From a tech perspective, Q3NA is simply Quebec with 5 line changes in the code and 6 lines of comments. Please note that if something is not explicitly mentioned below, it remains the same as described here (tezosagora.org/proposal/PsQu…).
Q3NA Proposal Summary
1) Same security ambitions as Quebec, with a 50% staked tez security target (note: this is mentioned explicitly to contrast with our old Qena42 proposal, which had a 42% target)
2) Lowered maximum emissions bound (a.k.a. curve) (similar to Quebec), in case staked % is stuck near the target
3) Reinforced security at 33% staked via the same (modified) maximum emissions bound as above
4) Lower (adaptive) issuance by 5 XTZ/min static from turning off the Liquidity Baking (LB) (tezos.gitlab.io/alpha/liquid…) xtz/btc subsidy (i.e., LB is turned off after the activation of the Q3NA protocol)

It's an important feature for Tezos to let governance of different parts of the protocol take place in parallel, without a giant single threaded lock on the whole protocol. This is difficult to achieve in general, but in some cases, like adjusting parameters, it's feasible, and that's amazing.
People looking to stoke controversy to get attention are going to make up a lot of nonsensical arguments against the liquidity baking toggle. What are the consequences?
Liquidity Baking (LB) is IMO a net positive but relatively unimportant, it can go.
However the damage done by fudding a useful signalling mechanism goes well beyond LB, it nukes an entire avenue for parallel governance of Tezos. Regardless of your opinion on the merit of LB, you should not tolerate this kind of drivel, it's corrosive.
Dear Tezos bakers, there is now a proposal to sunset Liquidity Baking. If you'd like to sunset it, you can set a flag in your blocks and it will sunset automatically once it reaches a threshold. There's a built in off switch, it works, you can use it. Don't let anyone bamboozle you by telling you otherwise.
