If Andy Kim spent as much time fixing problems here in New Jersey as he does visiting places like Iowa and New Hampshire, we’d all be better off.
New Jersey comes last, even for our own U.S. Senators. We deserve SO much better.
Something special is happening here in Iowa. There’s so much energy and excitement around @turek4iowa and @RobSandIA for the new generation of leadership they’re promising and an end to broken status quo politics that have left Iowa behind.
I’m so excited for the people of this state who get to vote for incredible leaders up and down the ballot this year (and a little jealous we don’t have breakfast pizza in NJ)!
My thoughts and prayers are with Middle Township Police Officer Austin Kapurelos for a full and speedy recovery after he was struck by a drunk driver reportedly in this country illegally.
We are praying for his family, his fellow officers, and everyone standing beside him as he recovers.
Enough is enough. Governor Murphy and Sherrill’s support for sanctuary policies that limit cooperation with federal immigration authorities puts radical politics ahead of public safety and common sense.
Our brave police officers deserve leaders who stand behind them, not policies that stand in the way of enforcing our laws. How many more headlines like this do we need before Trenton does the right thing and puts an END to New Jersey’s sanctuary state status?
Austin deserves justice. It is my hope that the coward responsible is held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
BREAKING: A new poll shows that 82% of New Jerseyans support voter ID. Almost 3/4 of them support proof of citizenship.
The Governor has indicated she’d sign a voter ID bill. Her party controls both chambers of the legislature. She doesn’t need one Republican vote to get this done. So what is the hold up? The citizens of New Jersey are counting on Trenton to deliver and SECURE our elections!
I’m proud to be an Italian American and grateful for the faith, family, and traditions that are such a big part of my life. Today, we celebrate Christopher Columbus and the generations of Italian Americans whose hard work and determination helped build this country.
My hometown of Vineland has deep Italian roots, and I’m proud to see our heritage celebrated and our traditions passed down from one generation to the next.
Happy Columbus Day! Buona Festa! 🇮🇹
Today is a big day. East Point Lighthouse will officially reopen to the public in just one week.
This is one of New Jersey’s true gems, a place that celebrates our fishing heritage, draws visitors to the Bayshore, and connects us to the natural beauty of our coast, from horseshoe crabs to migrating monarchs.
Assemblymen Simonsen and McClellan and I have been fighting for East Point since 2019, working to protect its history and keep its doors open to the public.
Thank you to the County, Commissioner Potosnak, NJDEP, and the countless volunteers and supporters who pushed tirelessly to reopen East Point.
I will never stop fighting for our Bayshore communities and South Jersey.

New Jersey is too damn expensive. Making it more affordable shouldn’t be a partisan issue.
I’ll work with anyone to make sure our kids and grandkids can afford a future right here in the Garden State.
On July 21, we learned that 6,600 noncitizens had been registered to vote and hundreds had cast ballots. I immediately called for an end to automatic voter registration at MVC offices and renewed my call for voter ID.
Weeks later, the Governor said she would sign a voter ID bill. Yet the legislature still hasn’t brought it up for a vote.
Today, the Governor announced another potential 1,000 registration discrepancies linked to the MVC. The more her administration digs, the more problems it finds.
Enough is enough. We must end automatic voter registration at the MVC. I support the legislation Senators Bucco and Corrado recently introduced to do exactly that. The Senate must also bring the voter ID bill I’ve cosponsored, S-68, up for a vote.
These failures demand swift, decisive action, not more promises of “safeguards.” New Jerseyans are counting on us to secure our elections and restore their confidence. That confidence cannot be restored until we confront these issues head-on.
“Working around the clock…”
At the Division of Taxation…
Yeah, don’t remind us.
New Jersey has some of the best public servants in the country, and I got to see that firsthand when I stopped by the Division of Taxation to meet the team working hard every day to serve our residents.
With nearly two million households filing for property tax relief programs, they’re focused on making the process simpler and easier to navigate.
Good government starts with listening to the people we serve and finding ways to make things work better for them.
This afternoon I joined @Congressman_JVD, the Army Corps of Engineers, NJDEP, & local officials assessing storm damage along our shore.
It is critical that we have all hands on deck to replenish our beaches so our shore communities can weather the winter and enjoy another great tourism season in the real South Jersey. That’s why I’m working tirelessly at the state level to ensure our communities have the resources they need to rebuild.
📍North Wildwood
I appreciated joining @HarryHurley on his program to discuss the devastating Nor’easter that battered our coast. I’ll continue to work with anyone, regardless of party, to deliver the relief our communities need to rebuild, recover, and better protect our shore from future storms.
It shouldn’t take a lawsuit to find out how bad New Jersey’s illegal voting saga really is.
Noncitizens registering and casting votes in our elections was preventable. Voter ID is a common-sense safeguard that could have stopped it.
That’s why I co-sponsored legislation to make voter ID the law in New Jersey. It has bipartisan support: Governor Sherrill has said she’d sign it into law!
So, what is the Legislature waiting for? 🤔
Mikie could never…
BREAKING: @GovernorShapiro Secures $42 Million Investment from Tandem Foods to Expand Manufacturing Operations, Creating 83 New Jobs.
Proud to join Victor Faison on On the Town at the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce alongside the best legislative team in New Jersey, Assemblymen Simonsen and McClellan
From affordability and energy costs to housing and jobs, we’re focused on fighting for the people and communities of South Jersey.
Thanks to Victor and the Chamber for having us!
On September 12, 2001, America woke up grieving, but united. We set aside our differences. Neighbors helped neighbors. First responders answered the call. Flags flew from front porches, storefronts, and car windows across the country.
Twenty-five years later, may we remember not only the pain of September 11, but the strength, compassion, and unity we showed each other the day after.
America is strongest when we stand united together. 🇺🇸
Twenty-five years later, we carry forward the memory of those we lost, the courage of those who served, and the enduring promise of freedom that binds us together.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸
A 6-year-old girl was kidnapped from her home and allegedly sexually assaulted by a man who was in this country illegally. One headline like this is one too many.
As a father, I cannot imagine the pain this family is experiencing. Every parent deserves to know their children are safe, and New Jersey families deserve leaders who will put their safety first.
But over the past few weeks, New Jerseyans have seen multiple instances of heinous crimes allegedly committed by people who are in this country illegally. We cannot continue accepting policies that allow dangerous criminals who have no legal right to remain here to stay in our communities.
That is why we must immediately repeal New Jersey’s sanctuary state policies and ensure that state and local authorities cooperate with federal immigration officials to remove dangerous criminals from our communities.
This cannot become the new normal in Mikie Sherrill’s New Jersey. New Jersey families deserve safety. They deserve accountability. And they deserve so much better.
foxnews.com/us/illegal-immig…
New Jersey’s immigrant trust directive MUST be repealed immediately.
We cannot be a sanctuary state that continues to put noncitizens ahead of hardworking, taxpaying New Jerseyans.
I’ve been outspoken against this dangerous policy since 2019, and I will never stop fighting to restore law and order, support law enforcement, and bring common sense back to the Garden State.
UMass won its first game since 2024 after Mikie Sherrill sent this out. I’m not saying she cursed Rutgers… but we can’t rule it out.
The Scarlet Knights are back! 🏈
Wishing @RFootball a great season as they take the field against UMass for their home opener tonight.
Let’s go RU!
Republicans have been sounding the alarm about New Jersey’s disastrous business climate for years.
Now, the consequences are impossible to ignore. New Jersey suffered record job losses in July, employers are leaving in droves, and businesses are moving to states with more competitive climates.
Now Burlington, founded in Burlington, New Jersey, and named after the town, is moving its headquarters across the river to Pennsylvania.
It turns out the cost of doing business matters to the people doing business… For decades, Democrats have controlled New Jersey’s government and had every opportunity to make our state more competitive. Instead, they have done nothing while businesses, jobs, and opportunity continue moving out of state.
Even Pennsylvania, with a Democrat Governor, is eating New Jersey’s lunch, despite New Jersey’s enormous economic advantages of its own.
This is not inevitable. It is the result of failed leadership and years of bad policy. If Democrats keep doing the same thing, New Jersey will keep getting the same result.
New Jersey deserves SO much better.
If Democrats in Trenton were truly serious about election integrity, they would have called a special session, brought our voter ID bill to the floor for a vote, passed it, and sent it immediately to the Governor’s desk, especially after she indicated she would sign it.
Anything less is a blatant disregard for the will of the constituents they represent.
