60 Second Banger #6
Here we have D’Breez remixed by Autechre – a beautiful thing. It’s a super nice remix from a duo that can turn their hands to club bangers when they feel the want.

60 Second Banger #5
‘Chase’ by Giorgio Moroder is a total (60 second) banger. Released in ’78 it was created for the film ‘Midnight Express’. They say this is the start of Hi-Nrg but for me it’s a mega balearic disco record that always sounds good in the party.

60 Second Banger #4
The first time I heard this record was on the killer Buzz compilation ‘Virtual Sex’. It’s Kenny Larkin under the name Lark with a 110 bpm beauty. A classic floaty banger.
Artist – Lark
Title – Tedra
Label – Buzz Records
Year – 1993
60 Second Banger #3
Here’s the lovely Tracey Thorne with Massive Attack and ‘Protection’. It’s here in it’s Eno Mix by legendary producer and musician Brian Eno. This mix really strings out the introduction and lets the vocal sing.
